Man found shot, killed behind abandoned King Street home
A man was found shot to death behind an abandoned home on King Street Sunday
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are trying to determine who shot and killed a man off King Street just north of Interstate 10, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
The man, believed to be at least 18, was found about 9:40 a.m.. behind an abandoned home on King Street, police said.
Authorities said they are canvassing the neighborhood, asking people if they heard anything, and are looking for surveillance cameras on homes in the area.
The man was the fourth person reported shot this weekend. A man was shot to death and four others were injured in three shootings that happened on the Westside.
