What needs to change after judge orders Florida property tax amendment must be reworded for ballot?

You’ll still find the Florida Property Tax Amendment on the ballot in November. It will just be worded differently.

Leon County Circuit Court Judge David Frank ruled the title and ballot summary for Amendment 3 were “clearly and conclusively defective.”

The judge found the slogan “Save Our Homes from Excessive Property Taxes” wasn’t fair or neutral. It was more like a political slogan.
