LIVE: SpaceX to launch Starship Flight 13 test from Texas after delays
SpaceX will launch the thirteenth Starship flight test from Starbase, Texas on Friday.
The mission tests upgraded Super Heavy and Starship vehicles, deploys 20 next-generation Starlink satellites, conducts an in-space Raptor engine relight, and attempts a controlled splashdown in the Indian Ocean.
The initial launch on July 13 was delayed after some of the engines failed to ignite, triggering a launch abort amid billowing clouds of smoke and vapor. Thursday’s launch was also delayed due to weather.
