The event positions a team of high school standouts from traditional northern states against a team of exceptional athletes from traditional southern states.  Bolles senior running back Amari Terry is one of the athletes that will play on the south team and he says he is excited to to play in this game.

"It means a lot to be recognized," Terry said.  "There is a lot of guys playing in this game that have big time offers from colleges and I think it is my time to show that I can compete with them."

Blue-Grey football was established in 1989 to help prospects from across the country receive national exposure and increase their chances to secure college scholarships.  Players were chosen by the Blue-Grey football selection committee from a talent pool of more than 8,000 athletes, most of whom were scouted during their national combines.

In addition to playing one last high school football game, the athletes from Jacksonville say the opportunity to play in an NFL stadium is one that will not be overlooked.

"It's amazing," said Trinity Christian senior Chase Lasater.  "I've grown up in this stadium watching the Jaguars, so to be on the field playing is definitely going to be a different experience.  It is going to be wild and I'm looking forward to it."
