JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX girls lacrosse Super 6 will be published Monday through the end of the regular season. Records are through April 7 games.

Rank, previous, school, record, classification

1. (1) Bartram Trail (11-5, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bishop Moore, Nease, Oviedo, Ponte Vedra (twice), St. Thomas Aquinas, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: The Bears went 2-1 since our last Super 6. They beat a solid Bishop Moore (12-7) and crushed Fletcher (18-0). They lost to unbeaten Bishop Ireton (16-14). They open the District 3-2A tournament on April 16 against Buchholz or Tocoi Creek. Ryann Frechette (78 goals, 17 assists), Emily Barnette (44 goals), Esa Brennemann (36 goals, 18 assists) and Ava Allamon (21 goals) are the headliners for the Bears.

2. (4) Ponte Vedra (9-7, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Creekside, Episcopal, Lake Mary, Nease, Oak Hall, Potomac School (Virginia), Tocoi Creek.

Glance: The Sharks thumped Creekside (16-5) and then clipped a very talented Lake Mary team (14-13) since our last Super 6. They are the top seed in the District 3-1A tournament and will face either Beachside or St. Joseph on April 12. Lily Toole leads the Sharks in goal scoring followed by Hannah Toole.

3. (2) Episcopal (8-7, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Bolles, Creekside, Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Catholic, St. Augustine.

Glance: The Eagles went 1-1 since our last Super 6. They beat St. Augustine handily (17-3) and lost to unbeaten Bishop Ireton (15-11). They’re the No. 1 seed for the District 2-1A tournament. They face either Wolfson or Paxon in the semifinals on April 15. Brooke McCoy (42 goals) and Maeve O’Neil (35 goals) lead Episcopal.

4. (3) Creekside (11-5, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Beachside, Cherokee (Ga.), Fleming Island, Gulf Breeze, Oviedo, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek, Winter Park.

Glance: The Knights lost to Ponte Vedra big (16-5) since our last Super 6. Natalie Charyak leads the Knights with 74 goals and has 22 assists. Hailey Josleyn (26 goals, 24 assists) and Regan Bayly (25 goals, 12 assists) are next among the Creekside scorers. The Knights are seeded No. 3 for the District 3-2A tournament, which begins April 11 against Flagler Palm Coast.

5. (5) Tocoi Creek (11-5, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bolles, Fleming Island, Menendez, Nease, St. Augustine.

Glance: The Toros went 1-1 since our last Super 6, losing to Oak Hall (15-7) and beating Fletcher (17-2). They’re seeded fourth for the District 3-2A tournament, which begins Thursday. They’ve got Buchholz up first. A win would send them to a semifinal match against No. 1 Bartram Trail. Ashley Cotter is closing in on 100 goals. She’s got 92 and 31 assists. Riley Cronin (24 goals, 16 assists) and Ella Hill (20 goals, 9 assists) are also in the 20-goal-and-up club.

6. (6) Bolles (8-7, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Beachside, Creekside, Fletcher, Gulf Breeze, Menendez, Nease.

Glance: The Bulldogs have won three straight since our last Super 6, including quality Ws over Menendez (16-6) and Nease (17-1). Bolles is the No. 2 seed for the District 2-1A tournament and opens with Riverside on Wednesday. They’ll likely see No. 1 seed Episcopal in the final.
