Cordell Russell, 34, was sentenced to 28 years in Florida State Prison on Thursday for the beating his co-worker to death. He pleaded guilty last month to manslaughter. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Russell and co-worker Thony Roy, 28, got into a fight on Jan. 21 at the Dave & Buster’s on the Southside.

The family of Thony Roy, who Jacksonville police in January said got into a fight with a co-worker of the Southside Dave and Buster’s, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit, seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages.

(CNN) - Dave & Buster's is taking the Impossible Burger off its menu, and swapping it out for a competitor. "We've upgraded to Lightlife," Art Carl, vice president of culinary and beverage for Dave & Buster's said in a statement Thursday. The restaurant chain first started serving the Impossible Burger in September 2018. Since then, demand for the Impossible Burger has grown significantly, leading to product shortages earlier this year. Impossible pointed to that larger format as a reason for the split with Dave & Buster's.
