As Florida starts their preparation ahead of Saturday’s game vs USF, the conversation of QB play is already the hot topic among, and outside, of Gator Nation.

The first game of the 2021 season is in the books, but it didn’t go the way many thought it would for the Gators. Quarterback Emory Jones didn’t have the best performance in his first start, while backup Anthony Richardson electrified the crowd with some nice running plays.

Florida’s first opponent of the season will be an experienced one. The FAU Owls will roll into Gainesville Saturday night to take on the Gators with many returning starters on both sides of the ball.
