The Dutch Grand Prix is bidding goodbye to Formula 1 but its organizers say it could potentially return as an “alternative venue” amid continuing uncertainty over next year’s schedule.

Formula 1’s only American driver, Logan Sargeant, has been dropped mid-season by Williams as the team promoted Formula 2 driver Franco Colapinto in his place.

Even before Logan Sargeant finished his rookie Formula 1 season, a set of expectations were given to the American on what he needed to do to keep his ride at Williams.

Formula One is hoping to turn its luck around on the Strip, like so many other Vegas visitors who blow a big bankroll soon after they arrive.
