The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says a section of Roosevelt Blvd. is shut down due to a crash with injuries.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people died and another was hospitalized after a crash early Sunday morning at Roosevelt Boulevard and Plymouth Street, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said. The crash happened about 2:20 a.m. near Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Kent Campus. The Sheriff’s Office said two other people were seriously injured and were taken to a hospital, where one of them died. Both vehicles were in the northbound lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard, but JSO did not say how the crash happened. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500.
