JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday evening in a crash on Butler Boulevard, according to a spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatality was reported near the exit for Hodges Boulevard. The crash partially blocked the right lane of Butler Boulevard, which later reopened.
The motorcyclist was not immediately identified. A report said he was 23 years old.
According to Sgt. Dylan Bryan with FHP, the motorcyclist drove off the road and crashed. He said witnesses told troopers the motorcyclist and another vehicle were seen weaving in and out of traffic.
