Motorcyclist driver dies, passenger seriously injured after losing control, colliding with median in Union County

UNION COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist driver died and a passenger was in serious condition Wednesday after the driver lost control of the motorcycle in Union County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said a 42-year-old man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle with a 20-year-old woman.
They were traveling west when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the median on State Road 100 and State Road 121, causing them to spin out and throw both riders off the bike.
The FHP report said both the driver and the passenger were wearing helmets.
The woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The crash is currently under investigation.
