Voter’s Guide: Columbia County races

Of Columbia County’s top administrators, the only one to draw opposition this election season. That race and a runoff in one of thee contested County Commission seats will appear on the November ballot, along with races for 5th Congressional District, Florida Senate District 5, Florida House District 10, judicial retention and six proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution.

Tax Collector

• Kyle Keen prevailed din a three-way Republican primary and now faces Davie Parrish in the race to fill the seat of retiring Tax Collector Ronnie Branson.

Columbia County Commission

• District 3: Incumbent Bucky Nash drew three opponents in the primary and, since no candidate got more than 50% of the vote, is in a runoff with Robby Hollingsworth in the general election.
