Sunny Saturday to a Soggy Sunday

Windy conditions next week

. (.)

The days are getting a little longer, but our time under sunny skies will come to an end. That hasn’t stopped some of the buds from blooming. A good root watering is coming Sunday and Monday followed by cool and windy conditions next week.

Saturday is without a doubt the best day of the weekend to get things done outside. Patchy fog will start the day followed by sunny skies and spring-like highs. The breeze will help keep you cool as it increases through the day. Increasing clouds overhead let us know something is coming our way.

All models have pivoted to an earlier start for showers followed by rain and isolated storms. Wind will also increase with stronger gusts along our beaches. Temperatures will start in the 50s and only climb a few degrees to the upper 50s and 60s. Rain chances will rapidly increase after sunrise to widespread coverage of 90 to 100 percent. Coverage diminishes to 60 percent after 6 p.m.

The wind will be a big part of our workweek coverage next week as the rain ends late Monday, early Tuesday morning. Sunny skies Tuesday afternoon with a strong onshore flow.
