A mild start with temperatures in the upper 50s to 60s region wide with a slight breeze.

Later today we will warm up into the upper 70s to 80s region wide under partly cloudy skies. There’s a slight chance of showers mostly in our southern counties this afternoon.

Monday: Severe weather is possible Monday afternoon as widespread showers and thunderstorms move into the area after lunch time with highs in the upper 70s to 80s.

Main threats will be damaging winds and hail region wide and isolated tornadoes mostly in SE GA.

Rest of the week: Once the line of storms pushes through, temperatures will drop back into the mid 60s, normal for this time of year, with overnight lows in the 40s and 50s under mostly sunny skies. The next chance of rain is possible Saturday.
