Freeze Warning Issued as Temperatures Drop Overnight

Another round of freezing temperatures is expected overnight and early Tuesday morning. A Hard Freeze will cover the inland areas with a light freeze and frost along our coastal zone.

A Freeze Warning will be in effect from 10 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday for the viewing circle. Temperatures will trend below normal on Tuesday and then begin warming ahead of an approaching cold front. Showers will be possible late Wednesday through Thursday afternoon.

Freezing temperatures will start the day on Friday followed by a warmer weekend.

Tonight: Mostly clear and cold, light wind. Freeze Warning 10 p.m. - 9 a.m.

Tuesday: A cold start to the morning with a Freeze Warning through 9 a.m. Less than seasonal temperatures continue under sunny skies. Wake up temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Sunny skies with highs in the 50s. Wind SW 5-10 mph. Mostly clear and warmer overnight.

Wednesday: A warmer afternoon with increasing clouds and a chance of scattered showers as a cold front pushes through. Partly cloudy skies with lows in the 30s and 40s. Becoming cloudy with afternoon highs in the 60s to low 70s. Cloudy with showers overnight. Wind: SW 10-15 mph. Rain chances 60-80 percent. Rainfall totals: generally less than a half inch.
