Near-record highs continue through the weekend, with windy conditions exacerbating wildfire risks.

A warm evening under clear skies will wrap up the week. Patchy to dense fog will be possible early Saturday and Sunday. Near-record highs continue this weekend, with cloudy skies and increasing onshore winds late Sunday and Monday.

A Fire Weather Watch will be in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. The northeast wind is expected to average 15-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph.

Patchy to dense fog will be possible again tomorrow morning.

Saturday, April 18, 94 degrees, set in 1967.

Sunday, April 19, 92 degrees, set in 1995.

A weak cold front will move through on Sunday, with little energy and limited moisture the rain chances are not looking good. The GFS and EURO continue to show a slight chance of showers, estimated at 10 percent or less.

Behind the front, high pressure builds, bringing elevated north and northeasterly winds. A Fire Weather Watch will be in effect through Monday evening. Dry air will filter in behind the front, and the pattern will continue through next week. The ridge of high pressure will move east of the area Tuesday and Wednesday, with lighter winds expected.
