Summer heat and humidity will slip into our forecast this week and weekend. The first day of summer is a little more than two weeks away, but that will not stop the heat and humidity. Afternoon highs will hover above our seasonal 88 degrees all week long. Rain chances will develop Thursday afternoon with daily rain chances through Sunday as the sea breeze becomes active.
The unsettled pattern of afternoon and early evening thunderstorms lingers this weekend with increasing rain chances on Saturday and Sunday.
Tonight: Mostly clear, to partly cloudy with patchy fog.
Tuesday: Hot and humid. Becoming partly cloudy and hot with isolated showers possible over southeast Georgia, near I-75. Moring lows in the 60s and 70s for SE GA, 70s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the 80s to low 90s. Wind: ESE 5-15 mph. Rain chances 10-20 percent.
Wednesday: Widespread 90s with limited rain chances. Lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s and 90s. Rain chances 10-20 percent. Wind: SE 5-10 mph.
