JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Schools systems in parts of Georgia that experienced freezing rain and between 1 to 3 inches of snow started announcing school closings would be extended through Thursday.
Some Jacksonville area schools will also remain closed. The closures include:
Camden County
Glynn County
McIntosh County
Alachua County
Methodist Children's Village on Jacksonville's Westside
All campuses of The Broach School of Jacksonville
King of Peace Episcopal Day School in Kingsland, Georgia
