A woman working out at a fitness center suffered minor injuries after a jack hammer chisel from a nearby construction site crashed through the gym's window. The Associated Press reports that Robin Cocking was exercising at Asphalt Green fitness center on Manhattan's Upper East Side when the jack hammer chisel came crashing through the window around 9 a.m. Cocking escaped with minor cuts from shards of broken glass. The accident prompted temporary suspension of construction of the Marine Transfer Station until safety at the work site could be improved. An investigation as to how the accident happened is underway.
