JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 27-year-old man from Green Cove Springs was killed when his pickup truck crashed into a pole Friday night on the city's Southside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
The single-vehicle crash happened about 9 p.m. on Touchton Road, near Southside Boulevard.

According to police, a black GMC pickup truck was traveling west on Touchton ran through the roundabout and struck a concrete power pole. Police identified the driver as Jimmy Garza III of Green Cove Springs.
The crash is under investigation by JSO traffic homicide detectives.
