Recording artist, stand-up comedian ‘Lil Duval’ hospitalized after ATV accident

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Roland Powell, aka “Lil Duval,” an American stand-up comedian, actor, and singer, who was born in Jacksonville, said he broke his leg after a car hit him while he was riding a four-wheeler in the Bahamas. He made the announcement on social media Tuesday night.

Lil Duval posted a video to Instagram showing him on a gurney being transported to a hospital in Nassau by helicopter.

The serious accident happened while the 45-year-old was in the Bahamas where he owns a home, according to Auto Evolution.

“Somebody hit me in they car while i was on my 4 wheeler,” the Instagram caption said. “Now my leg broke and i gotta get flown over to nassau and have surgery.”

Well-wishes from celebrities flooded his comments section.

“Sending well wishes to the 🐐!” the Jacksonville Jaguars tweeted. “Here’s to a speedy recovery, @lilduval.”

“Dam bro i hope you good bru,” Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz said.

Other celebrities like Angela Simmons, Michael Blackson, Matt Barnes and Terrence J commented wishing him a speedy recovery.

The rapper has been documenting his visit to the Bahamas, posting videos and photos to Instagram of him swimming, walking on the beach and more.

As of Wednesday morning, his current condition was unknown.
