This morning FHP is investigating a 2-vehicle crash that left a 20 & 21 year old dead

The Florida Supreme Court on Wednesday scheduled arguments Feb. 9 in the DUI manslaughter conviction of a Clay County man whose son was killed when their all-terrain vehicle was struck by a truck on a rural road.

Minutes after a shooting early Friday morning in Columbia County, the suspect was killed in an all-terrain vehicle crash, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Two 8-year-old girls were injured Sunday in an ATV crash in Bradford County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The girls were riding on a dirt road and tried to turn into a driveway on 16th Avenue when they hit a dirt mound in the driveway and the ATV flipped over, troopers said. Both girls were thrown from the ATV and suffered serious injuries. They were taken to UF Health Hospital in Gainesville for treatment. Troopers said the crash is still under investigation.

BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – Two 11-year-old boys were taken to UF Health in Gainesville with nonlife-threatening injuries after a rollover ATV accident on Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The ATV was headed north on Northwest 100th Avenue when authorities said the ATV hit a ditch and lost control. The vehicle’s left-side bumper collided with a fence post before rolling over on to its right side, according to authorities.
