Back to school: Everyday STEM on a budget

The ScienceSIS Foundation, shares simple, low-cost ways families can inspire curiosity and a love of STEM using everyday items already found at home. During the segment, we will demonstrate fun back-to-school STEM activities that encourage children to ask questions, think creatively, and solve problems without expensive toys or technology. We will also invite families to attend Galaxy Fest 2026, Jacksonville’s largest free hands-on STEM festival, on Saturday, September 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at James Weldon Johnson Park in Downtown Jacksonville.
