JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars opened the final day of the NFL draft with some much-needed help at edge and more backup at tight end.

Williams (6-4, 256 pounds) can get into the backfield. He had 29 tackles for loss and 11 sacks in his career. Williams’ sack numbers slid in 2025 (from 7.5 to 2) but he’ll land on the roster in a valuable role. He projects as a situational rusher and will more than likely work his way onto the field through special teams. Williams has a knack for that side of the ball. He blocked five punts or field goals over his final three seasons with Duke.
Pass catching tight end
Jacksonville went back to the tight end well in the final day of the NFL draft, picking Houston’s Tanner Koziol with pick 164 in the fourth round. Koziol (6-6, 247) is a much different player than tight end Nate Boerkircher in the second round. Koziol is the pass catching tight end. He had a conference-leading 74 receptions last year and six touchdowns. Koziol had 237 catches for 2,234 yards and 24 career touchdowns.
