Saint Johns County officials are raising alarms about the recently proposed state constitutional amendment regarding property taxes

Oakland officials have voted in favor of changing the name of the city’s airport to San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport, despite San Francisco threatening a lawsuit over what it says is a trademark violation.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. The same day Putnam County reported a single-day high for new cases of COVID-19, the countys Board of Commissioners announced that some of its buildings will be closed to public access beginning Monday because of concerns over the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the county. Only the Emergency Services, Planning and Development Services (Building, Planning/Zoning and Code Enforcement) and the landfill will remain open. All other county departments will be closed to the public until further notice, starting Monday.
