Starting Friday, July 1, diapers, infant, and toddler clothing are all tax-free through June 30, 2023.

A wide-ranging tax package topped by sales-tax “holidays” and a gas-tax break was one of 17 bills that the Legislature formally sent to Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A pair of siblings decided to write a book and sell copies of it in order to buy diapers for the Miles of Diapers collection drive. Julius, 8, and Jy, 10, sold 10 copies of the book to raise funds for families in need. Their book is also important because it’s meant to stop discrimination against natural hair. Through Oct. 30, there will be collection boxes at WJXT, Fields Auto Group Dealerships, Tire Outlet stores and Community Health Outreach of Jacksonville. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Baby Luv at Community Health Outreach, which serves up to 600 families each month who need diapers and baby supplies, is holding a Miles of Diapers collection drive. Each baby with diaper need receives 50 diapers per month thanks to Miles of Diapers donations. That could mean as many as 20,000 diapers distributed per month.
