One person is dead and five others were hurt in a mass shooting inside a club in Brunswick early Saturday morning, the Brunswick Police Department said.

The Glynn County Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after a 17-year-old was found wounded on Cypress Mill Road and Golden Isles Parkway.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – One day after a 27-year-old man from Darien was shot and killed during an argument in Brunswick, a 28-year-old turned himself in at the Glynn County Detention Center. Brunswick police said Alfred Spaulding-Hill was shot about 10:45 p.m. Friday on Stonewall Street but they found him on Lee Street. He was taken to Southeast Georgia Health Systems where he died. Police learned that the shooting occurring during an argument with Ramondria Johnson, of Brunswick. Johnson surrendered on Saturday and was charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and criminal damage to property.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. - A young man turned himself in Saturday to police who were investigating the death of 20-year-old man who was fatally shot Friday night after what the victim's grandmother described as a fight over a girl. The Brunswick man was found unresponsive and suffering from at least one gunshot wound on Friday night. The Brunswick Police Department said the shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. on Ellis Street Lane between P and O streets. Garner called his cousin a sweet young man with his life ahead of him, and had a message for the gunman. You need to stop shooting people.
