A Jacksonville man speaks out after being shot when he followed a hit-and-run driver on St. Johns Bluff Road. The bullet remains lodged in his abdomen

A man from Yulee died Saturday evening after he was shot near an apartment complex in St. Marys, according to the St. Marys Police Department.

Two vehicles shot at each other in a “road rage” incident near Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff on Saturday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The Florida Highway Patrol was on the scene of a crash on I-295 South, where the right lane was blocked.

One person died and another was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after a shooting broke out at a gas station at Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff.

A Jacksonville police may face a citation after running a red light, causing a crash that seriously injured a 78-year-old man.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 41-year-old man has died after he failed to stop at a red light on Beach Boulevard at the intersection of St. Johns Bluff just after 11 Sunday night. His car hit another oncoming vehicle that was turning from Beach Boulevard to St. Johns Bluff. The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries but she’s expected to be OK.A third car traveling behind was hit after the impact pushed the turning car backward. The crash report shows a 27-year-old man and a 3-year-old boy were in the third car but did not have any injuries.
