A Jacksonville mother and her two young children have been forced to sleep in their car after an electrical fire destroyed their apartment last Tuesday, leaving them with virtually nothing.

A structure fire at the Cedar Park Apartments displaced approximately 50 residents early Wednesday morning, the Lake City Police Department said.
