A Freeze Watch is in effect for our inland locations from Monday night through Tuesday morning. A widespread freeze is likely for those areas within the freeze alert with temperatures in the 20s.

The Freeze Watch may need to be expanded just slightly further South and East as models show widespread near freezing to below freezing temperatures. Inland northeast Florida will wake up to low to mid 30s inland, mid 30s to low 40s I-95 to the beaches. Freezing temperatures expected overnight. Wake up temperatures in the upper 20s to 30s inland, 30s to low 40s I-95 to the beaches.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Light showers are pushing through and will dry up after the early evening hours. Our temperatures are expected to plummet overnight as winds increase out of the northeast around 20mph. Thursday starts out chilly, in the low 50s, under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will start in the mid 50s and warm into the mid 60s. Sunday is the better day of the weekend, with sunnier skies and mid 60s for daytime highs.
