A large outdoor fire has closed Highway 17 near Dover Bluff and caused an evacuation for a Camden County subdivision on Tuesday, the Camden County Fire Rescue Department said.

Missing pregnant Mississippi woman Makayla Winston has been found dead, police say. (CNN) - A pregnant woman was found dead in Mississippi on Monday, less than a week after she disappeared, authorities said. Makayla Winston, 21, was last seen on Thursday leaving her home in Goodman, north of Jackson, Holmes County Sheriff Willie March said. Holmes County investigators found Winston's body off Franklin Road, near Highway 17, which is located south of Lexington, March told CNN. Winston's body will be taken to the state crime lab in Jackson to determine the cause of death, according to March.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Three people are safe after an emergency plane landing Saturday afternoon in Brunswick. The pilot radioed in a distress call when he realized he ran out of fuel, Glynn County officials said. Glynn County Emergency Management said because the plane is in a secluded area, they're going to leave it until the Federal Aviation Administration can complete its investigation. Glynn County officials provided some drone photos showing the plane in the middle of the marsh. "Because it was low tide, we weren't able to get a boat out to them, said Alec Eaton, of Glynn County Emergency Management.
