Voter’s Guide: Columbia County races

Of Columbia County’s top administrators, the only one to draw opposition this election season. That race and a runoff in one of thee contested County Commission seats will appear on the November ballot, along with races for 5th Congressional District , Florida Senate District 5 , Florida House District 10 , judicial retention and six proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution.
Tax Collector Kyle Keen prevailed din a three-way Republican primary and now faces Davie Parrish in the race to fill the seat of retiring Tax Collector Ronnie Branson.
Columbia County Commission District 3 : Incumbent Bucky Nash drew three opponents in the primary and, since no candidate got more than 50% of the vote, is in a runoff with Robby Hollingsworth in the general election.
