Do you or a loved one rely on Medicare? Don’t miss this town hall on preventing fraud

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A free town hall on Thursday in Jacksonville will bring together several agencies and experts to help those with Medicare spot and prevent possible fraud.

The “Crush Fraud” event is from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday at the River Garden Hebrew Home at 11401 Old St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville.

Organizers ask that you RSVP for the free event here: shorturl.at/8IQdk. But an RSVP is not required to attend.

You are asked to bring your ID to the Town Hall for registration.

Organizers said the event will feature an opportunity to interact with fraud experts and to be educated about recent fraud schemes. Participants will also learn about innovative tools and new regulations to fight fraud.

The event is being hosted by the Center for Program Integrity at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, along with the Office of Inspector General, Florida Senior Medicare Patrol, Administration for Community Living, and ElderSource.
