FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives say they found a meth lab in a Palm Coast home Tuesday following a crash in the area.

Deputies said when they responded to the crash, they found Joseph Canfield nearby, who told them he'd been in a physical altercation and had been chased by someone.

A subsequent investigation led deputies to a home at 20 Philmont Lane, where Canfield told deputies Brian Hitas and Kenneth Stancil were cooking methamphetamines.

Upon being given consent from an occupant inside the house, detectives said they found several meth "one pots" inside.

Canfield, Hitas and Stancil were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Hitas was charged additionally with possession of methamphetamine.

They were taken to the Flagler County Detention Facility.
