Police ask for help to find wanted man

Police seek to question man in burglary, criminal property damage

ST. MARYS, Ga. – St. Marys police are looking for a man wanted in connection with an auto parts store burglary and vandalism at a Salvation Army.

Police said the would “like to speak to” James Butler about the commercial burglary of Discount Auto and criminal damage to property at the Salvation Army.

But they said Butler doesn't want to speak to them because he was last seen in Jacksonville leaping from a car that was bringing him back to Camden County to meet with police.

Police said they suspect Butler might be trying to flee the area.
