Woman arrested in connection to 2023 Arlington murder

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 31-year-old woman serving time for aggravated assault was charged with murder in the shooting death of a 24-year-old man in Arlington.

Dylonn Bealle-Veneziale was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the street on Alderman Road on June 12, 2023.

After a roughly year-long investigation, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Cierra Martin was accused of pulling the trigger on Bealle-Veneziale. JSO did not say what led to the shooting.

Martin was serving a prison sentence at the Lowell Correctional Institute when she was taken to JSO for an interview.

Martin was arrested and taken to a Jacksonville detention facility on Friday.
