Toddler found with heroin at day care
Dozens of packets containing the drug found in boy's coat
A New Jersey man was arrested after his toddler was found with dozens of heroin packets at day care.
Forty-eight envelopes of heroin were found stuffed in the 2-year-old's jacket by a worker at the day care center in Paterson on Monday, Reuters reported.
Authorities don't believe the child knew the drugs were in his coat.
Police confirmed the boy's father had dropped him off that morning.
The father, 27-year-old Phillip Young, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
