NCSO invites public to have coffee with a cop

The event gives citizens an opportunity to interact with local law enforcement

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – The Nassau County Sheriff's Office has partnered with its local McDonald's to host a "Coffee with a Cop" event.

The event aims to give citizens an opportunity to interact with their local law enforcement officers. It will take place at the McDonald's location at 1896 South 8th Street in Fernandina Beach. "Coffee with a Cop" runs from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Officers will be on hand at the McDonald's to talk with community members about any concerns and answer questions. All attendees will receive a free small cup of McCafe coffee.
