According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Moody's car was heading south on state Road 121 when it crossed into the oncoming lane and struck the northbound pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup -- Arthur Hewett, 61, of Lake Butler -- died at the scene. The car overturned, killing 21-year-old Charles Sharp of Jacksonville. Moody suffered only a minor injury.

Immediately after the crash, Florida Highway Patrol homicide investigators said they were trying to determine whether Sharp or Moody was driving the car.
