JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – McDonald?s restaurants around the state will be inviting guests in for an exclusive behind the counter look this week.
Organizers said this tour is designed to share the American icon?s story. Attendees will see the menu quality, the people and the restaurant?s commitment to the community. Guests will see first-hand how the restaurant serves up its favorites, sample the latest menu items and learn how the ingredients go from the farm to the table.

Tours locally will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday?s tour will be at the McDonald?s on Lem Turner Road beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday?s tour will be held at the restaurant located at 1001 University Boulevard beginning at 5 p.m. Ronald McDonald will be on hand to meet and entertain the kids.
