GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville police and Alachua County deputies have made two arrests in connection with two home invasion robberies.
The victims in both robberies were tied up and had valuables stolen.

Michael Spralding, 24, and Henry Murray, 31, were arrested late Saturday evening in Hapeville, Ga.
They have been charged in connection with a robbery Sept. 6 in the 5200 block of Northwest 49th Lane in Gainesville and a robbery last Wednesday in the 4900 block of Northwest 38th Street in Gainesville.
In the September robbery, the occupants of the home were tied up and their SUV was stolen. It was later recovered in a remote, densely wooded area in the 21000 block of North State Road 235 near La Crosse.
In the robbery last week, the occupants of the home were tied up and their car was stolen. It was later found near the intersection of Northeast 21st Street and Northeast 156th Avenue in the Monteocha area.
Spralding and Murray are charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 or older, false imprisonment, larceny and home invasion robbery with a firearm in connection with the September robbery.
They are also charged with home invasion robbery with a firearm, grand theft and false imprisonment in connection with the robbery last week.
Investigators said they're looking into additional crimes the two suspects may have been involved in.
Both men will face an extradition hearing in Georgia before being brought back to Alachua County.
