According to the arrest report, Team JAS ordered an internal audit when it discovered a lot of money missing.  The arrest report says 27 checks were written on the company account to Boyer, who had worked there since 2004.

When Boyer was questioned by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, she admitted to writing the checks to herself.  According to the report, she told police she started small, intending to pay the money back, "but it got out of hand. I wanted my children to have a better life."

Boyer was charged with employee theft.  According to the JSO jail website, she is out on $5,003 bond while her case is prosecuted.
