LAKE CITY, Fla. – Police in Lake City say they've found a missing 16-year-old they believed to have run away from an Interface Youth facility last month.
Police said Helena Pinkerton left the facility Aug. 16 and had not been seen or heard from by family since then. She was found safe Friday in Gainesville at her boyfriend's apartment.

Her boyfriend, 19-year-old Craig Kaczmarek, told police he had no knowledge of Pinkerton's whereabouts. Police said charges are now pending against him.
