JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A missing 72-year-old man diagnosed with dementia was found safe by officers in the 400 block of West 58th Street late Wednesday morning.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Paul Phillip Flowers was Baker Acted on July 5, taken to a nearby hospital, and was receiving care.

Authorities said Flowers was last seen Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. in the downtown area when he received his daily medication.
Investigators said they believe that Flowers walked out of the hospital after taking his medication.
