JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was injured in a drive-by shooting in the Longbranch area late Monday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of East 27th Street shortly before 10 p.m. in reference to a call about a person shot.

A man was found with a gunshot wound and transported to UF Health. He sustained non life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses reported someone shooting from a vehicle. No vehicle description is available at this time and police are still searching for the shooter.
