JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is dead after drowning in the pool of a Southside apartment complex Saturday.
Sgt. Dan Janson with Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the mother of Sachin Massey, 21, was looking for him and saw his car parked at an apartment complex near Hodges Boulevard and Butler Boulevard. Massey's mother then discovered her son in the pool and called for help.

Residents of the complex came out and removed Massey from the pool. The mother performed CPR on him until medics arrived.
Massey was rushed to Mayo Clinic, where he was pronounced dead.
