JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 21-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced Monday morning to life in prison, with a 25-year minimum mandatory, for the 2013 shooting death of a 33-year-old man.
Christopher Charles was convicted last month on one count of second-degree murder.

In February 2013, Charles and Ferneze Jones were involved in an argument at Charles' home. Jones left the home, but returned a short time later.
As Jones approached Charles' home, Charles came outside with his loaded rifle. He then fired multiple shots at Jones, killing him.
