JTA provides shuttle service for Ga.-Fla. fans

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Fans can make plans now to take the Jacksonville Transportation Authority's Stadium Shuttle Service to the annual Georgia vs. Florida game on Saturday at EverBank Field.

"The excitement for Georgia vs. Florida weekend is building and JTA's Stadium Shuttle Service is staffed and ready for all the gameday fans to utilize the service," said JTA's Chief Executive Officer Nathaniel P. Ford Sr. "We strive to provide each rider with a safe and enjoyable experience that allows them to focus more on the game and less on the obstacles of traffic and parking."

Parking is complimentary in one of the convenient lots for customers boarding the shuttle for a direct trip to the stadium. JTA will offer park-n-ride services from the following locations throughout the city:

Downtown
Convention Center Lot: 1005 Forsyth Street, $7
Kings Avenue Parking Garage: 1003 Kings Avenue, $7
Jacksonville Landing: 2 Independent Drive, $7

Beaches
Little League (Wingate) Park: 277 Penman Road South, $12

Southside
J. Turner Butler and Philips Highway: 7020 Philips Highway, $12

In addition to those locations, JTA will also offer shuttle-only service from the Jacksonville Landing (load on Hogan Street between Water and Bay) to the stadium. The cost is $7. All Stadium Shuttle Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue until one hour after the game.

The Skyway will be operational from 9 a.m. Saturday until midnight and will have extended hours on Friday until 1 a.m. Saturday.
