Car hits stopped FHP cruiser on I-95

29-year-old driver arrested on DUI charge

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A marked Florida Highway Patrol cruiser with its emergency lights in lane of Interstate 95 marked closed for construction near the intersection of Baymeadows Road was struck just before 9 p.m. Monday by a Toyota Camry, according to the FHP.

Lt. M. Dubois, who was in the cruiser when it was hit, suffered minor injuries and did not need hospitalization.

The driver of the Camray, Ian Albahae, 29, of Jacksonville, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
