ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A man is in the hospital Friday after sheriff's deputies said he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in St. Johns County.
Chuck Mulligan, with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, said that the man was riding the bike down County Road 13 at Century Acres Road when the accident happened.

According to officials there were no visible signs of injuries to the man but he was life-flighted to a local hospital for treatment.
A report on the accident and the extent of the man's injuries is expected to be released Monday.
